Terms of Service — ServerPulse

1. What ServerPulse is

ServerPulse is a monitoring and analytics service for Discord server owners. It tracks member count changes, detects unusual leave patterns, and (on paid plans) delivers Discord DM alerts. The Guard tier adds security monitoring via audit log polling to detect bulk member kicks, mass bans, and suspicious permission changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ServerPulse (Discord's minimum age requirement applies). By creating an account, you confirm that you are the owner or administrator of the Discord servers you connect.

3. Discord access

ServerPulse connects to Discord via OAuth to read your server list. When you install the bot, it joins your server to enable DM delivery and audit log monitoring. ServerPulse never reads message content, user DMs, or voice channel activity. Audit log data (for Guard) is read-only and used solely to detect security incidents — it is not sold, shared, or retained beyond what is necessary to display your incident history.

4. Paid plans

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Guard) are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal — your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ServerPulse to monitor servers you do not own or administer, to attempt to access other users' data, to resell access, or to use the service for any purpose that violates Discord's Terms of Service or applicable law.

6. Service availability

ServerPulse is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that all alerts will fire without delay. Alert delivery depends on third-party infrastructure (Discord, Supabase, Vercel) outside our control. Nightly snapshots and Guard polling are best-effort.

7. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. All your data — servers, snapshots, alerts, incidents — is permanently deleted. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

ServerPulse is not liable for any damages arising from missed alerts, incorrect data, or service outages. The service is a monitoring aid, not a security guarantee. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before any claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 7 days in advance.
